Mission:
Welcome! We are the union of 740 Research Assistants (RAs) at Stony Brook University. We organized in 2008 to give all RAs at Stony Brook a voice with which to improve our situations. We elected an RA Bargaining Committee that negotiated with The Research Foundation for a groundbreaking first contract. We want The Research Foundation to pay for our fees, raise all our stipends, improve our vision and dental benefits, provide us with job security, and establish a fair system of grievances. We will fight to win more in the years to come!
Our office is in Nassau Hall, room 123A.
